I am a paper hoarder. But it’s a new decade and that stops now. I am going to send beautiful DSP out into the world to spread cheer. So last night I did it. I cut up the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies DSP. There are two sheets of each design so one sheet was cut for landscape cards and the other for portrait oriented cards. Here is an example of some of the papers.

But two of the sheets I just could not cut up into 4″ x 5.25″, and that I used to make a birthday card. This is a 5.5″ x 5.5″. The paper made the card, I just had to stamp a sentiment and it was ready to go. I did add just a small bit of layering for fun so there is a 1/8″ border from the card base and another between the base and the DSP. This is being hand delivered so no extra postage required.

Now that my paper is ready to use it is time to B Stampin Away.

I love the Toile Christmas bundle because the Cardinal can be used any time of the year and the Toile Tidings designer paper is great for the winter months, not just Christmas time. Which by the way there are still 4 more days of Christmas to celebrate. The words on both these cards are from the Itty Bitty Christmas set. I know I will use the 18 different stamps from this set over and over on my Christmas cards for years to come.

Two other sets which are good for the winter months are the Snowman Season bundle and Nature’s Beauty. If you live closer to the Canadian border these sets could probably be used for “Thinking of you” or birthday cards until May.
